All of our delicious cookies are made from scratch.  Never any frozen doughs or dry mixes.

Chocolate Chip-Ours are special because they have crispy rice and a little bit of oats

Oatmeal Raisn- The goodness of cinnamon and raisins in a chewy cookie

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip- Chewy chocolaty goodness

Mud Puddles- Rich chocolate cookie loaded with chocolate chips

Butterscotch Oatmeal- Loaded with brown sugar and butterscotch chips

Snickerdoodle- Our sugar cookie only rolled in cinnamon sugar

Gingersnaps- Ours are nice and soft and made with ginger, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and molasses

For Christmas we also have Almond Bars and Candy Cane cookies and 6 kinds of miniatures.

Our brownies are made with extra dark cocoa and are moist and fudgy.

Our bars are varied and we are always coming up with new things to try.  Some of our current favorites are

Salted Nut Rolls- Shortbread crust, mini marshmallow filling and peanut, rice crispy and peanut butter topping

Chocolate Caramel Oatmeal- Just as yummy as they sound

Special K- An old favorite.  Cereal and peanut butter on the bottom.  Chocolate and butterscotch melted together on top.  Ooey Gooey!

Pecan Pie- Just like the pie but in bar form.  Rich, gooey and nutty

During fall and winter we also have the most moist and delicious pumpkin bars with rich creamy cream cheese icing

Everyone is jumping on the cupcake craze but here at Nan’s we have been doing it for years.  Most of our cupcakes have a little something extra- A surprise filling inside.  Nan believes it’s just not enough frosting when you get down into the cake part so she fills em up!  Some of our bestsellers are listed below.  If you have a certain flavor in mind that isn’t listed here, just give us a call and we’ll see what we can do.  Please give us a couple days notice to put it on the baking schedule.  Oh, and if we are going to bake you something special, we ask that you purchase at least 2 dozen.  After all, they’re only $1.50 each.  What a reasonable price for such a sweet treat!

We make our fudge one pan at a time and with real cream and real butter and real chocolate.   You’ll never find our fudge to be grainy and gritty because we make it with a little secret.  OK I’ll tell you.  We use powdered sugar so it’s always so smooth!  Here are just some of our flavors.

Yes, we are the ones that carry the 21 colors of M&M’s.  Be sure to call us so we can set aside the colors you want.  They are a hot seller around her for parties, showers, weddings, graduation and company colors.  We try to keep all 21 colors in stock but you never know when someone is going to come in and wipe us out of 20 pounds of black and 20 pounds of gold, so best to call ahead and we’ll hold them for you.   FYI- Best sellers are red, gold, black, dark purple.  Hmm.  Must be something to do with some Iowa Universities!

We try to have a great variety of Salt Water Taffy.  Currently we stock 30 flavors.  We have all the favorites and some unusual ones like Cinnamon Roll, Caramel Apple, Frosted Cupcake, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Red Licorice, oh I could go on and on!

Nan searched all over for the best tasting sugar free chocolates.  We think the line we carry tastes very close to regular chocolates. From nuts to jells to creams this assortment has pretty much anything you could want.   Just a few are listed below.

OK.  Here is where Nan excells!  She has never met a chocolate (or a truffle) she didn’t like.   However, some are better than others, that’s why she buys from all over this country and from many different makers.  One company may make fabulous Toffee but not so great caramels.  We have done the legwork for you chocolate connosoirs and carry only the best.  Most everything we carry tsastes just as good if not better than the high end chocolate stores and you don’t have to mortgage your home to buy a pound.  Listed below are just a sampling of what we carry.   Many more are in store.  We have such a large selection it’s hard to list it all here.

Made in house- Chocolate dipped pretzels, caranel chocolate dipped pretzels with or without pecans or peanuts, chocolate dipped grahams, orange slices, oreos, nutter butters, red licorice, marshmallows, chocolate caramel dipped rice crispy treats (yes THE ultimate decadent pleasure!)

Nan makes her dutch letters with LOTS of yummy moist real almond paste filling inside.  After all, that is the best part.  We hand make and shape every single letter.  We also make them in small batches.  Homemade and handmade and from scratch- thats what makes us stand apart from the rest!

We only stock Millers Original Kettle Korn.  It’s the best of course!  Bruce Miller was one of the original vendors at the farmers markets.  His kettle korn is not too sweet or too well done, it’s just perfect.  We carry a $5 bag and a $3 bag.  Also Bruce hand makes his Kettle Korn into Popcorn Balls with M&M’s, and the most wonderful Caramel Corn you’ve ever tasted.  And if you can’t decide between Caramel and Kettle Korn, we mix up a bag of both so you can have double the pleasure!
